Tiger Prints February 3, 2012

Dear Winfield Families,

It was a pleasure to be chosen to play Rapunzel in Thursday night’s Fractured Fairy Tales evening of storytelling! Mrs. Paula Rooney, a storyteller from Villa Park, spun tales that had the audience laughing, singing, and rapping right along with her. I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Hurley, one of our parents, who played an outstanding Prince to my Rapunzel! The evening was a wonderful celebration of literacy and I appreciate the PTO’s commitment to provide support for our annual Literacy Night. Thanks, also, to our reading specialist, Mrs. Garretson, who made the arrangements for this event. Every child received a book for attending, and three lucky winners had their names drawn for a $15.00 gift certificate for our spring book fair.

Happy Reading!
