Dear Winfield Families,

On Monday, the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be celebrated in a number of different ways. Some people will attend a special ceremony to honor his memory. Others might watch his life and legacy unfold on the TV screen in a documentary. There will be some who stop to remember where they were the day they heard the news of his assassination. His quest for peace throughout the world continues to be the focus of our leaders today.
