Winfield School’s information/emergency calling system allows the school to make automated calls with information that is important to you, including but not limited to school emergency closings, activities, or concerns about student movement to and from school.
The Illinois School Code and the Emergency Immigration Act, Title VI of the Education Amendments of 1984 (p.l. 98-5II), states that each school district shall administer a home language survey to each and every student entering the district’s schools for the first time. Your help is needed to meet this information requirement.
Communication between parents and the school is vitally important for the growth and development of the child. Not all parents live together, but we believe it is important for both parents to receive student progress information and notices of conferences, etc.
