The District 34 Learner Expectations are grade-level objectives that are aligned with the Illinois Learning Standards. The Learner Expectations represent what all children at each grade level should know, understand, and be able to do.

Our goal is to create, life-long learners and problem solvers who are prepared to meet the challenges of the future. We aim to encourage the enjoyment of learning by providing a wide variety of ideas and points of view. We will continue to update materials and provide timely, scholarly information through our own personal development and commitment to this discipline.

Tiger Cub Preschool Program

The Winfield Tiger Cub Preschool Program offers children ages 3-5 a wonderful introduction to education in mixed-age classrooms. Our tri-blended program includes children without identified needs, children with special needs, and children eligible for our State-funded Pre-Kindergarten Grant Program. Children enrolled in the program are exposed to developmentally appropriate curriculum, planned and led by certified early childhood teachers.
