Our Mission

The Mission of the Winfield Schools is to prepare each child to be an engaged, life-long learner who excels in life and effectively contributes to society.

Our Beliefs

Children are both able to and choose to be lifelong learners through the modeling and encouragement of teachers, staff, parents, and community.
Everyone supports the growth and development of staff.
Students are actively engaged and take responsibility in the learning process.
Students, parents, staff, administration, and community communicate openly.
The school and the community forge a strong parnership.
Teachers, by using varying and adjusting instructional methods, will challenge all students.
Students learn in a safe and stimulating school facility.
Students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development are all important.

Our Five Year Goals and Strategic Objectives

Goal #1 - Maximize each student's learning.
Goal #2 - Create a respectful, constructive, and safe environment.
Goal #3 - Promote active communication and collaboration among and between students, parents, staff, administration and community members.
Goal #4 - Be fiscally responsible.
Goal #5 - Develop and implement a process to evaluate district goals and make improvements as needed.
