Two students were recognized at the December School Board Meeting - Alex VanDoren and Jaci Doncoes Mrs. Kahlfeldt and
Mrs. Kersten refer to Alex as hard-working and eager to learn. They believe
that Alex takes great pride in his work and in his studies. If he is struggling
at all with a skill or concept, he takes the time to ask questions in order to
better understand the material. Alex is well liked by his peers and has
many friends. He participates in activities at school and also outside of
school. Alex is a terrific student and citizen. They are proud of him! Congratulations to Alex VanDoren on being someone who has
made a difference in the lives of others in Winfield School District 34!
Mrs. Johnson states that Jaci is every teacher’s dream student! She feels Jaci definitely gives her all in math. But she is more than someone with this great work ethic and thoroughness; she is a kind and compassionate person. Mrs. Johnson has seen this in math class, as well as in Book Café this quarter. Her kind and encouraging ways are felt by all of those around her. Mr. Kahlfeldt agrees with Mrs. Johnson. What impresses him is how responsible Jaci is and that she always does her best work. She comes prepared to class and seeks out her teachers when returning after an absence to see what she has missed. He believes Jaci certainly deserves this recognition. Congratulations to Jaci Doncoes on being someone who has made a difference in the lives of others in Winfield School District 34! |
