Two students were recognized at the November School Board Meeting - Evander Lopez and Caroline Karwoski

Mr.Siemienkowicz believes that Evander Lopez is the kind of student every arts department would be proud to have.  His participation in Art Club and Band for the last several years has not only improved Evander’s development as an artist, but he has also stimulated the imaginations of the students around him. Evander is a funny, low key humorist to both his classmates and the staff at Winfield.  According to Mrs. Johnson, Evander does a great job in math class! He comes to class prepared each day and his work is neat and thorough. Along with his strong work ethic, he also brings a great attitude to class and a wonderful sense of humor. Congratulations to Evander Lopez on being someone who has made a difference in the lives of others in Winfield School District 34!

Mrs. Hennessy and Mrs. Demos believe that Caroline Karwoski is very kind and eager to help others. She has a warm personality and genuinely cares about everyone here at school. She has excellent student skills and is a very hard worker. Caroline is a true advocate for her own learning and asks questions to clarify or solidify her understanding. She appreciates any opportunity given in order to increase her own knowledge.  Caroline is conscientious and responsible about completing her work and shows great leadership potential.  Congratulations to Caroline Karwoski on being someone who has made a difference in the lives of others in Winfield School District 34!
