What is the Winfield Education Foundation?

The WEF is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) organization that aims to support and enrich District 34 students’ educational opportunities.   We help provide facility maintenance and enhancement, technology, curriculum support, and other initiatives that go beyond the scope of public school funding and the district’s budget.  Our vision is to partner with school administration, community and local business leaders, and the Parent Teacher Organization to support our community in becoming an incubator of ideas and innovation that fosters advancements in education.

Winfield Studios project

WEF has raised $15,000 of our $35,000 goal to fund the Winfield School District 34 Studios Project. The plan includes transforming space in the library into podcast and television studios. Winfield Studios will empower teachers to create unique ways for their students to meet and exceed, not only the academic standards, but also social and emotional learning standards. The knowledge and skills gained from using the studios will give the students a solid foundation to become high school, college, and career-ready, with more familiarity of cutting-edge technology.  We invite our local community members and businesses to contribute to our school to help bring the Winfield studios project to life. To partner with us in sponsorship of events or other creative ways to engage with our school community, please contact us at To make a donation, please click “donate” to use your credit card or Paypal account, or send a check (payable to Winfield Education Foundation) to either school office, along with your name, email address and phone number.  A receipt will be emailed to you.
