MISSION

The Winfield School District 34 Parent Teacher Organization (Winfield 34 PTO) aims to build a school community where students and teachers can flourish. Winfield 34 PTO organizes activities that foster the connection between home, school and community life; initiatives that help school staff and families; and fundraisers that provide resources benefiting district children and their families.

Winfield 34 PTO is comprised of enthusiastic volunteers who want to support our school in a fun and engaging way. Please join us for many exciting events throughout the school year. The time and resources you contribute allow us to help all Winfield students have the best educational experience possible. All parents and staff are automatically members of our PTO and your involvement is critical to its success!

You can Contact Us or come to a meeting any time. Meetings are held on the first or second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Central School Library (please see calendar for specific dates each month).

Join us for our next PTO/WEF meeting on Wednesday, 5/3 at 7pm in the Central School Commons. Come see what PTO and WEF are all about - we love to meet new parents and get new ideas!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Our PTO could not survive without the efforts of our dedicated volunteers!  We have a variety of volunteer positions that only require small amounts of time or talent.  Check out our current volunteer opportunities on SignUp Genius and look for new opportunities to be posted as needed in Tiger Prints.  A comprehensive list of all our PTO and WEF coordinators and roles can be found here.  We are always happy to hear from those interested in volunteering, so feel free to reach out and we can work with you to find the best way for you to help!

HOLIDAYS - ROOM SIGN UPS

Our holiday classroom parties are fun events where parents work together to plan fun games and crafts to celebrate upcoming holidays.  We ask parents to sign up for one room party per school year to allow all parents the opportunity to participate in these fun events.  Sign up to attend and help here and stay tuned to your email for more information from the room parents.

CONTINUOUS FUNDRAISERS

Market Day Local 

Market Day is back, offering many favorite items with convenient home delivery!  Simply visit Marketday Local and register our school (Winfield School District 34 PTO).  Create an account, place an order, and the PTO will get 10% of each purchase plus bonus dollars!  Orders ship directly to you via Fedex; free shipping on orders over $119. Fill your online cart with those old favorites and help our PTO!

Market Day is offering its first ever Red Apple Day sale this weekend (11/11-11/13) with 50% off all items (except ChicNSteakes).  It’s the perfect time to try it out!

Box Tops for Education

The Box Tops program has shifted from physical Box Tops to digital credit given for scanning receipts.  Visit the Box Tops for Education website for bonus details and download the Box Tops app on your smartphone to scan receipts - ask family and friends to scan for our school!  The school receives 10 cents for every Box Top.  Be sure to give credit to your child’s teacher; we offer incentives a few times a year to the classes with the most credit.
