Clubs

ART CLUB

Art Club has three sessions, for three different grades each year.  Classes are taught by Mrs. Maggie Lawson.  Grades and dates will be announced throughout the year. 

BAND

Students in grades 5 through 8 participate in Band with Mr. Matt Wdowiarz.  Band runs from August through May. Group lessons are held during the school day on a rotating schedule. Concert Band meets during Middle School Advisory on Tuesdays and Thursday.

CHESS CLUB

Students in grades 2 through 5 participate in Chess Club . Chess Club runs from January through March and meets on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:15 in Winfield Central School.

DRAMA CLUB

Students in grades 5 through 8 may participate in Drama Club with Mr. Matt Wdowiarz. Drama Club runs from December through March and meets on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 3:15 - 5:00 p.m. and some Saturdays (times to be determined). Final Performances dates will be determined.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD - GRADES 6-8

Students work with a partner or small group to prepare for study, build, lab or hybrid events and compete against students from other schools at  Invitational and Regional Tournaments in February and March. Practices will begin in mid-November.  Mrs. Cori Nelson & Ms. Kaitlyn Freundt
